7 Steps To Finding Your WHY

Maggie Webber

Here is the “How To Discover Your WHY in 7 Steps Workbook.” These steps are going to help you CREATE AUTHENTICITY AND FULFILMENT in all areas of your life.

Somewhere, often deep down inside, you know what you love to do, what totally lights up your heart and your belly, and how you can make and leave a mark on the world.

  • What did you love doing as a child?  Did you ever tell people what you wanted to be ‘when you grew up?’

  • Do you have a mentor, a role model or even an idol? What is it you admire most about them?

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

  • What are your top 10 Values and Core Beliefs?  Now rate them from the most important to the least (though still very!) important.

  • Do you have any causes that are really important to you, that you could use your skill set to support – (paid or unpaid!)

  • If time and money were no object – if you had all the time and money you wanted – what would you be doing?  What are you really and truly passionate about?

  • What are your top 6 goals? Pick one from the 6 main areas of life which are: Family & Friends, Health & Wellbeing, Business or Career, Finances & Wealth Creation, Personal Development & Growth; Inner Life & Connection.

  • What Legacy do you want to leave… after you do?

Your Personal Mission Statement:

  1. What are 3 of your gifts and talents? e.g.  great organiser, love public speaking, etc.
  2. What are 3 of your personal qualities? e.g. loyal, good communicator, etc.
  3. What events or circumstances tend to keep on happening in your life? e.g. do you often spend time with children, do people often come to you for advice, etc.
  4. What are your 3 main desires in life? e.g. to be a public figure, to help people, to travel, etc.

Now fill in the gaps, choosing the top item you have chosen from each category to create your Personal Mission Statement:-

I_______________________________ (insert your name) am born to be______________________________ (insert personal quality) who can_____________________________ (insert gift/talent) and I find myself___________________________ (insert repeating events or patterns) often, because I am born to be and supposed to be _________________________________ (insert desire).
